Item Description:The 1st work originally entitled Caribbean melodies (for vocal soloists, mixed chorus, piano and percussion) arr. by Vivian Taylor for SAB soloists, saxophone, piano and steel pans. Track 12 is for baritone, saxophone and piano; track 15 for contralto, saxophone and piano; track 19 for saxophone and piano; track 20 for piano solo; the remainder for voice and piano.
The melodies in the 1st work originally collected and annotated by Zora Neale Hurston, set by Still in 1941.
