Abstract:This project deals with the characterization of DNA repair genes and their encoded proteins involved in the incision step of excision repair and in postreplication repair and mutagenesis following exposure to UV light in eukaryotes: the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae and humans. Summarized in this report is progress in achieving the goals of this project.
