Abstract:We show that the high energy limit of quark-quark, or gluon-gluon, elastic scattering is calculable in terms of the BFKL pomeron when -t ≫ Λ{sub QCD}². Surprisingly, this on-shell amplitudes does not have infrared divergences in the high energy limit.
