| Abstract: | We present a sketch of the formulation for obtaining Lie algebraic transfer maps for the solenoid through third order and its effect on the beam of charged particles. We discuss simulation results showing effects of solenoids on the laser driven high brightness photoelectrons for the proposed alternate injection system for Brookhaven Accelerator Test Facility. |
