Description
Summary:Geothermal Legacy.
Abstract:The geothermal resource potential of the Alvord Valley is among the highest in Oregon. However, environmental concerns, litigation, and administrative requirements have delayed exploration for and development of this resource. Present estimates indicate that deep exploratory drilling may not take place on Federal lands in the Alvord Valley until 1982.
