Smart classrooms create new educational opportunities by integrating networking, computers, and audio visual technology. In this paper instructional technology, in particular, the "smart classroom" is examined from an administrative perspective. The smart classroom and its potential challenges, along with possible solutions to those challenges, are addressed. Finally, both internal and external funding mechanisms are briefly explored. The Smart Classroom Partnership Model is appended. (Author/AEF)
