It contains seven units for the facial specialty: identifying enemies of the skin, using aromatherapy on the skin, giving facials without the aid of machines, giving facials with the aid of machines, recognizing the basic principles of stage makeup, applying stage makeup, and preparing for the State Board Exam. Each instructional unit includes some or all of the basic components of a unit of instruction: performance objectives, suggested activities for the teacher, pretest, handouts, information sheets, supplements, transparency masters, activity sheets, assignment sheets, job sheets, practical tests, written tests, and answers to pretests, assignment sheets, and written test.
