This newsletter annual supplement contains several articles addressing the topic of biotechnology and the importance that the topic should be given in science classes. James D. Watson's article, "Biotechnology: The Charge to Education," calling for teachers to foster DNA literacy in their classrooms, is the keynote of this document.
