Summary:This issue of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program Interchange provides information about selected materials and publications related to adolescent substance abuse. Its intent is to facilitate the exchange of information between those concerned with substance abuse at the federal, state, and local levels, within both the public and private sectors. Catalogs, handbooks, reports, and resource guides from state and local agencies are listed alphabetically by state and include short annotations and information on whom to contact for copies of the publications and further information. Similar information is provided for reports, directories, workshop proceedings, manuals, handbooks, curriculum models, guides, catalogs, and fact sheets available from federal agencies and for order forms, newsletters, policy memoranda, guides, reports, and special journal issues from educational, voluntary, and professional organizations. Also included are descriptions and contact information for materials from MCH special projects of regional and national significance, other selected materials, and announcements and brief descriptions of continuing education opportunities and other events related to MCH.
