Included for grades 4 and 8 are sample performance assessment items and Idaho performance scoring standards. Also included are: (1) a listing of major shifts in emphasis from current programs, (2) Idaho goals for mathematics, (3) questions and answers on performance-based education, (4) curricular frameworks and alignment, (5) a mathematics goals/exit performance standards matrix, (6) mission and vision statements, and (7) position statements on vocabulary, resource availability, calculator usage, and staff development.
