| Summary: | The Informationszentrum fur Fremdsprachenforschung (IFS) (information center dealing with foreign language research) is part of a West German information dissemination system that is similar to ERIC. This annotated bibliography, published quarterly by the IFS, lists items compiled in conjunction with the ERIC/CLL as well as with a number of institutions in other countries. Most of the 254 items listed in Vol. 5, No. 1 appeared in 1973 and deal primarily with modern language instruction but also with several areas of linguistics. The publication is composed of three sections: (1) an alphabetical author/title listing of items, including full bibliographic citations and subject index terms, (2) abstracts of the items, and (3) a subject index developed from the descriptor terms assigned to each entry. These three main sections are preceded by lists of sources cited and followed by an alphabetical author/title index. (TL) |
