Summary:This document is designed to provide commercial pesticide applicators with practical information and regulations required by the Texas Department of Agriculture. The manual includes two major sections. The first section discusses labels and labeling, pesticides, aerial application, ground application, pesticide safety, pests and pest damage, environmental considerations, and certification requirement for commercial and noncommercial applicators. The second section discusses agricultural pest control which includes four topics of field crop pest control, fruit and vegetable pest control, weed control, and weed and brush control. Some review questions are presented at the end of each topic. The manual also presents some selected references. (HM)
