The pretest displayed no differences between the treatment and control groups on age, grade point average, political affiliation, religion, marital status, university classification, or sexual attitudes. Differences in sexual attitudes between the two groups developed on the posttest and the follow-up test. Human sexuality students presented steadily more accepting attitudes from pretest to posttest to follow-up and became steadily more accepting of behaviors for others than for self. Control group students generally showed no change in attitudes from pretest to posttest, developed less accepting of behaviors for others than for self. In both groups, males had more accepting sexual attitudes than females and summer session students had more accepting sexual attitudes than fall semester students on the pretest, posttest, and follow-up.
