Emphasis is on expanding the knowledge of contributions made by women and minorities to American technology and the value structure of American society. Sample lesson plans are presented for reading, science, spelling, social studies, and mathematics on the primary, intermediate, and secondary instructional levels. Each lesson plan contains a brief description of the text and/or an example to be used, the objective of the lesson, suggested activities, and a list of references. (EB) | ||
