Section 1 provides demographic data on Americans with disabilities. Section 2 reviews more specific data on such characteristics as age, race, income and geographic location. Diseases, injuries, and impairments causing disabilities are discussed in section 3. Section 4 focuses on the elderly and children. Work disability is discussed in section 5.
