Summary:This is the third of four modules on developing a comprehensive program of job placement services in a school setting. The purpose of these modules is to help the placement coordinator plan, implement, and evaluate a program of job placement services to meet student needs. The content area of the four modules are (1) pre-employment, (2) job development, (3) referral and placement, and (4) follow-up and follow-through. They concentrate on the development of skills and knowledges required by job placement coordinators. The module is designed as a six-hour workshop to be led by a coordinator. The module contains information and activities under the headings: Principles Involved in Establishin a Job Placement Office; State and Federal Legislation; Managing Student and Placement Information; and Placing Students on a Job.
