Description
Summary:This booklet is intended to encourage wider participation by California high schools and colleges in the Advanced Placement Program of the College Entrance Examination Board. It briefly presents a variety of useful information on the Advanced Placement Program for college and school officials interested in the possibility of participating in the program. Although it is intended primarily for use by educational officials in California, most of its content will be useful for those in other states as well. The booklet consists mainly of questions and answers that deal with what the Advanced Placement Program is, how it operates, how much it costs, how a school or college can participate in the program, and what the experiences of participating students and educational institutions have been.
