| Summary: | This document summarizes the information-gathering procedures and subsequent recommendations of the Illinois Community College Board for the l979 campus construction budget requests from 30 colleges in 27 districts. Included are formulas for estimating gross square footage needs per student, processes of evaluating enrollment and space data received by the board, validation of program statements and needs, factors used for determining budget eligibility, and priority assumption policies, criteria, and rankings. Sixteen projects totaling $70 million are approved by the board and 111 projects totaling $91 million are recommended for deferral due to insufficient enrollment justification. (RT) |
