An extensive list of specific student misbehaviors are rated by respondents answering the following four questions. Which misbehaviors are problems in the area of discipline? How often does each occur? How serious would it be when, or if, it occurs? How much would it interfere with the learning environment? Comparisons are made between responses of teachers and administrators. A second set of comparisons are made among urban, suburban, and rural respondents. Major findings were that most serious problems occur only rarely and that the least serious behaviors occur most frequently. (Author)
