Eight instructional areas are identified and defined, and examples of job titles are given for each--agricultural production, agricultural mechanics, agricultural supplies, agricultural products, agricultural resources, forestry, ornamental horticulture, and other agriculture. To help practitioners use the "dictionary of occupation titles" and "standard industrial classification manual," selected job titles and instructional areas are listed with their counterpart from these references. A selected bibliography on occupational guidance in agriculture contains items published between 1962 and 1965. Standardized tests which best apply to these occupations are listed. The appendix lists job titles in the area of agricultural production and gives a sample counselor-student dialog using the resources discussed in this report.
