Not included are the laws of states in which the learning disabled receive services when no specific legal provisions are made (an umbrella law covers all exceptional children) or when services have been extended by broadening legal labels such as "crippled,""maladjusted," or "health impaired." The document is updated through 1969; more current information will become available from the State-Federal Information Clearinghouse.
