This paper suggests some of the possible reasons for the lack of utilization of educational films. The author points out the advantages of films in classroom use, especially in the context of a systems approach to education. He discusses some of the work the Eastman Kodak Company has done in developing films for educational use. He also offers suggestions for ways in which to foster the use of films in the classroom.
