Description
Summary:This report evaluates a proposal for using paraprofessionals to assist in the development of agriculture and forestry in the Four Corners Economic Development Region, which includes the states of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. An improved educational program may be directed towards the more effective use of human, agricultural, and forestry resources through the use of paraprofessionals. The term "paraprofessionals" is defined and their mode of operation is discussed, in addition to noting the training and supervision necessary for programmatic operation. Alternatives are analyzed, recommendations made, and plans suggested for implementation of the proposal. Various tables present the data. (Author/AG)
