A mini-grant is a small grant awarded to an individual (usually a teacher or supervisor) in order that he might investigate or further develop an idea within the classroom or school setting. Developed in the State of New York, this concept and the 19 funded projects for the 1972 year are highlighted in this document. Given are a list of the research topics and names of the investigators as well as abstracts of the studies, denoting project titles, names and addresses of researchers, funding allotments, and names of sponsoring agencies. Rules and regulations governing proposal design and qualifications for the mini-grant award are appended as is a sample of the form to be used in making final project reports. (Author/SN)
