The hand positions (touching head, body, waist, and external objects) of three intermediate students were observed and recorded at 10-second intervals. There was a significant difference in body touching as the two films were viewed. It was found that the film with the violent theme had a high frequency of body and below waist touching, while the film with academic emphasis had a high degree of head and external touching.
