Four phases were developed, emphasizing: attitude (k-6); career orientation (7-8); career exploration (9-10); career preparation (11-14). Curriculum development and course expansion were teacher directed and extensive, with community involvement in the form of citizen advisory committees. Third party evaluations for each year of the project are presented, emphasizing student behavior and discussing project methodology, data, curriculum development, project phases, and recommendations. Sixteen tables supplement the discussion. A vocational-academic dichotomy, poor guidance programs, and a lack of consistently enforced priorities are noted. Half the document is taken up by appended materials which include: occupational charts; a project booklet (46 pages) and addendum; project correspondence; Learning Activity Packet (LAP) catalog, arranged by grade level, and papers concerning their writing; Teacher Resource Unit (TRU) information; papers regarding project determination, philosophy, career decision-making processes, and instructional objectives; reprint of an article in the Wyoming Educator; and student interviews.
