One of these tests is the BEM Sex Role inventory invented by Sandra Lipsitz Bem"--Artist's statement on the Vamp & Tramp Booksellers' website, viewed on September 9, 2014. "While Potter was a visiting artist at SUNY Brockport in Spring of 2010, Hubbard suggested that students take gender tests and create images in response to their results. The students decided as a group to organize the images alphabetically, with three sections: Androgynous, Feminine, and Masculine.
