Description
Abstract:Raman and infrared spectra of several organic superconductors are presented, showing some unusual behaviors of a sharp line at 890 cm⁻ in both spectra. These include a frequency shift below T{sub c}, a positive deuterium isotope shift, frequency softening at low temperatures and sensitivity to lattice superstructure. It is proposed that either the ion or the neutral molecule has a distortion with a strong v₆₀(B{sub 3g}) mode component.
