Advertisements on back wrapper: Lately published, Phrenological illustrations by George Cruikshank ... At the latter end of the year will be published four or six prints on the same subject as the present work. LC copy in original pink paper wrappers. Black-and-white illustrations mounted on larger sheets, perhaps the "large paper India proofs." Interleaved tissue paper lacks the ribbing and watermark of the first issue. (May have been replaced.) Has 4 pages of advertisements laid in: New publications by James Robins and Co., Ivy Lane, Paternoster, Row, London. |
