Abstract:	Work is nearly completed on an analytical model to demonstrate the advantages in both materials and losses to be gained by the utilization of thin insulation in transformers. Strip coating studies are under way. The measurement of the physical properties of film is completed and the measurement of electrical properties is nearing completion. The aging and compatibility studies are continuing.
