Description
Abstract:In this presentation, ThO₂ and ThO₂-UO₂ pellet fuel development activities leading to the production of kilogram quantities of fuel are described. Conventional dry ball milling was used to produce ThO₂ and ThO₂-UO₂ mixtures that were pressed and sintered to 95% TD with a homogeneous distribution of the components.
