The Asia Simulation Conference is an annual conference organized by the Chinese Association for System Simulation, the Japan Society for Simulation Technology, and the Korea Society for Simulation. Since the?rst gathering of the Asian simulation community in Seoul in the year 2001, the Asia Simulation Conferencehasprovidedaforumforscientists, academics, andprofessionalsfrom all around Asia to present their latest and exciting research?ndings in various?elds of modeling, simulation, and their applications. This year, we received about 120 papers and only 42 papers were selected for the?nal program after a very stringent refereeing process. As such, this sign- icantly strict selection percentage produced the very high-quality papers in the?elds of modeling and simulation methodology, e-business, supply chain m- agement, generalandengineeringapplications, manufacturing, medical, military, networks, transportation, tra?c and virtual reality. The success of AsiaSim 2007 was mainly the result of many individual c- tributions, and I would like to thank all authors, reviewers, ProgramCommittee members, session Chairs, and other participants. Especially, my special thanks go to the Program Chair, Yun Bae Kim, and all members of the Organizing Committee for their excellent e?ort and sacri?ce in a very short and conc- trated period of time.
