Abstract: | Resistance of materials to fracture by thermal shock is shown to be dependent on thermal conductivity, tensile strength, linear coefficient of expansion, and ductility modulus. A parameter that includes all these factors is used for the qualitative prediction of resistance materials to fracture by thermal shock. |
