520 3 |a Results are presented from an investigation to improve the high-temperature properties and resistance to creep of magnesium-cerium alloys. Experimental heats were made by addtion of a fourth element to the base composition which contained 6 percent cerium and 2 percent manganese. Tensile properties at 70 degrees and 600 degrees F were obtained and in addition most of the compositions were subjected to short-time creep tests at 600 degrees F.
