| Abstract: | A solution for radial distribution of cross-sectional area of supersonic propellers so that blade sections operate at maximum allowable centrifugal stress is given. The aerodynamic characteristics of some propellers designed by this method for Mach numbers from 0.9 to 2.4 for advance ratios of 2.0 and 3.0 are discussed. |
