|a Using the Cal-Tech analog computer, structural analyses have been made on two 45 degree swept wings of aspect ratio 3. One of these has a constant depth and the other has a constant biconvex cross section in planes parallel to the air stream. The wings extend through the fuselage and are rigidly supported along two iines at the faces of the fuselage.

|a Deflections and all internal forces have been calculated for concentrated static loads. Vibration modes are also presented. The effects of neglecting shearing strains in the ribs and spars and also of assuming the ribs to be rigid have been investigated by modifying the electric circuits to correspond to these simplifications.
