The temperature servo was found capable of controlling all the transients that were introduced. However, because of the relatively slow response and inherent stability of the reactor system, the temperature servo was found to be relatively inactive during many of the load change transients. The automatic load control operated as expected except that the minimum power available to the automatic control was about 2 Mw instead of l Mw as had been planned. This has not caused a problem in the reactor operation because the load control has normally been operated in "manual"
