| Abstract: | A set of tables is presented which aids in the numerical determination of the Fourier transform of a function of time and the inverse Fourier transform of a function of frequency. These tables are an extension of those given in NACA Technical Note 3598. The tables form the basis of a numerical operation calculus based on the Fourier transform nad the inverse Fourier transform have been found to be very useful in system analysis as well as in other problems. Many of the operations normally performed theoretically with the operational calculus can be performed numerically with the air of the tables. Some of these applications are discussed briefly. |
