Abstract:Flight tests have been made to determine the flying qualities of a Douglas A-26B airplane. The results of the tests to determine the longitudinal stability and control characteristics are presented herein. The results of the tests to determine the lateral and directional stability and control characteristics and the stalling characteristics will be presented in later reports.
