In 2014, the Bolshoi Theater ballet corps displayed its trademark virtuosity and artistry in this performance telling the tale of the cunning bandit who infiltrates the Italian aristocracy. After having plundered the area around Rome under the nose of its governor, Spada settles down in his castle to raise his daughter Angela, who, ignorant of her father's double life, is absorbed by her lovers. | ||
