He is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Head-Solar Energy Centre at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun India. He has more than 11 years of research and academic experience in mechanical engineering and renewable energy. He has published 03 patent, 05 research articles in SCI journals and conferences. completed five projects as Principal Investigator (PI) and two projects as Co-PI with a total research grant of more than twenty lakh INR for government as well as Industry partners. He has delivered many invited talks in webinar, FDP and Workshops and attended 15+ MOOCs and 15+ FDPs from various national bodies like IITs, AICTE and international bodies like Delft University of Technology-Netherlands, Tsinghua University-China, National Chiao Tung University- Taiwan and The International Monetary Fund (IMF). He has been awarded as Award for outstanding mentoring of students and Perfect faculty award for excellence in academic and research. He has successfully guided 16 B.Tech., M.Tech and Ph.D. thesis. In administration he is working as head for Centre of Excellence, COER. As an academician Renewable Energy, Solar-Thermal application, Automation and Special Propose Machining (SPM) are his interest areas of association. His ORCID ID is 0000-0002-2148-5604. Dr. Ashwani Kumar received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Mechanical Vibration and Design. He is currently working as Senior Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering (Gazetted Officer Group B) at Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh (under Government of Uttar Pradesh) Kanpur, India since December 2013. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era University Dehradun India (NIRF Ranking 55) from July 2010 to November 2013. He has more than 13 years of research, academic and administrative experience including Coordinator for AICTE-Extension of Approval, Nodal officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India), internal coordinator-CDTP scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh), Industry Academia relation officer, Assistant Centre Superintendent (ACS)-Institute Examination Cell, Zonal Officer to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Diploma), Sector Magistrate for Lok Sabha- Vidhan Sabha Election etc. Being an academician and researcher, he is Series Editor of 4 book series Advances in Manufacturing, Design and Computational Intelligence Techniques1/ Renewable and Sustainable Energy Developments2/ Smart Innovations and Technological Advancements in Mechanical and Materials Engineering3/ Computational Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering4 published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis USA)1-3 and Wiley Scrivener Publishing4 USA. He is Life Member of Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT), Life Member of India Building Congress (IBC), and Life Member of The Institution of Engineers India (IEI). Dr. Gaurav Dwivedi has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IKGPTU Jalandhar, M.Tech in Energy Systems from IIT Roorkee and PhD in the field of Renewable Energy (Biofuel) from IIT Roorkee, India. He has 9 years of teaching experience in the field of Mechanical & Energy Engineering and taught various subjects like IC Engine, Thermodynamics, Fluid Machinery, Bioenergy and others at various Institute like VIT University Vellore and Amity University Noida. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor in the Energy Centre at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal India. His area of interest is Biodiesel Production methodology, enhancement in fuel properties and application of biofuel on engine operation.
