Large numbers of people were fleeing. Sworn at Reading Nov. 18th before three men. Part 2. Deposition of James Reed, who was at a gathering point for refugees. He said everything was in disorder, including people's minds. The Indians came at night, so no one could get any sleep. He sent scalps with his message. Reading Nov. 18, 1755 2 PM.
