Joseph Rawson (1808-1891) was born in Mendon, Massachusetts, son of Colonel Warren and Mary Adams Rawson, and a descendant of Edward Rawson (1615-1693). He moved to Boston at age sixteen and to Cincinnati five years later. He married Mary Whiting Richards (1815-1894) in 1838. They had eight children...
