The votes of the high court of Parliament [microform] : whereby it doth appeare that there is no colour of their taxation that the introducing of any new law is intended much lesse an arbitrary power : but indeed to prevent it by that law which is an antient as the Kingdom and a meanes to preserve it from perishing.
