State of New-Hampshire. To the selectmen of [blank] Greeting [microform] : Pursuant to an act of this state, passed June 21st, 1792, directing the mode of choosing representatives to the Congress of the United States. You are hereby required to notify and warn a meeting of the inhabitants ... to assemble ... on Monday the eighth day of December next, for the purpose of voting, by ballot, for one of the following persons, viz. Abiel Foster, Esquire, or Paine Wingate, Esquire ... Given at the council-chamber in Exeter, this, 29th day of September, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-four.
