To provide Federal assistance for eliminating the causes of lead-based paint poisoning : Hearings before the Subcommittee on Housing of the Committee on Banking and Currency, House of Representatives, Ninety-first Congress, second session on H.R. 17260 a bill to provide Federal financial assistance to help cities and communities of the United States to develop and carry out intensive local programs to eliminate the causes of lead-based paint poisoning and to require an effective plan for the elimination of lead-based paint poisoning as a condition of Federal assistance under certain other programs; H.R. 13254 a bill to provide Federal financial assistance to help cities and communities of the United States develop and carry out intensive local programs to eliminate the causes of lead-based paint poisoning; H.R. 14734 a bill to provide that Federal assistance to a state or local government or agency for rehabilitation or renovation of housing and for enforcement of local or state housing codes under the urban renewal program, the public housing program, or the model cities programs, or under any other program involving the provision by state or local governments of housing or related facilities, shall be made available only on condition that the recipient submit and carry out an effective plan for eliminating the cause of lead-based paint poisoning.
