Summary:This research describes reasons and outcomes for participating in vocational education and examined differences between online and traditional students. The Adult Education for Work-Related Reasons Survey, part of (NHES: 2003) population is adults age 16 or older who were not enrolled in grade 12 or below, not institutionalized, not on active duty in the U.S. armed forces, and enrolled in a college degree during the past twelve months for work-related reasons.
