Intensities in nitrogen discharges and afterglows / O. Oldenberg.

The 'auroral afterglow' or short-duration afterglow of nitrogen is studied with particular attention to relative intensities in the emission spectrum. It is assumed that in an intense discharge through pure nitrogen, excitation in steps via metastable states occurs. (Author)
