In this book, the new trends such as artificial intelligence, thermal images and bioimpedance to diagnose cancer and novel treatment techniques are discussed. Moreover, the key role of thermal therapy as a new cancer treatment capable to reduce side-effects in patients is settled down. The most relevant topics from the engineering and medical point of view to implement a successful treatment (hyperthermia/ablation) by using radiofrequency (RF), microwaves (MW), ultrasound (US) or nanoparticles (magneto hyperthermia) are addressed"--  |c Provided by publisher.
